Samantha Aldana is an award-winning Belizean-American visual artist and children's book illustrator based in Los Angeles. 

Her most recent children's book, Zoo Krewe (written by Kelly Murtagh), was published by Arcadia Publishing and is available at Barnes and Noble. Her previous illustrated publications include Dragons of New Orleans (by Bruce Dear), In the Garden with You (by Yolanda King), Baseball is Cool (by Charles Dickerson), and A Bayou Tale (by Patrick Lane). 

In addition to books, Samantha often works as a freelance artist creating commission large-scale abstract artist and murals

When not making art, she volunteers as an arts educator, focusing on non-profit programs that aim to spread access to arts education and empower youth through art making.
